Coalition Building & Community Outreach
This committee is dedicated to building relationships with local social justice organizations and working with the black community and the larger B-town community.
In our coalition efforts we hope to build a group of like minded organizations who can join together to tackle important issues to the black community in B-town. Working with other organizations means we can cover a multitude of intersectional issues including immigration, voting rights, LGBTQ rights, sex worker rights, fair and affordable housing, police reform and confronting the white nationalist and fascism in our country.
In our community outreach we can provide a progressive revolutionary voice for the issues facing the black community. To that end we want provide community events of education and fun showcasing the richness of the black community here in Bloomington IN.
