Education Oversight Committee

The statistics of racial bias in school systems are alarming, combine that with the school to prison pipeline and the fact that black girls are removed by the police from class rooms more than any other students for things ranging from hairstyles to talking and you can clearly see Black students are at risk in our schools. #BLM B-town hopes to create a oversight committee to sit in on MCCSC school board meetings, weigh in on curriculum and guide our local school systems in creating a safer space for black and brown students. .
